| This PH pendant lamp is a replica of that designed by Poul Henningsen in the 1920s. Part of his acclaimed PH range of lamps, this innovative design reflects his search for harmony in lighting. PH 3/2 is a member of the PH 3-shade family originally conceived in the winter of 1925-26 for a large exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark called "Forum" and is based on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, creating a harmonious and glare-free illumination. The shades are drawn over a logarithmic spiral, with the center of the light source placed in the spiral's focal point. The shade itself is made from glass, and is designed in such a way that it obscures the light source. The pendant gives off only reflected light, resulting in a subtle and unobtrusive light that will ignite any space. The PH Pendant Lamp is available in white, and can be used to illuminate both traditional and contemporary settings. This glass pendant is the perfect addition to the home or office. |
